Driver Advertiser Admin GPS & Payment Q&A

Platform Workflow

1Advertiser books campaign

Business creates campaign with area, dates, budget, and banner.

2Admin assigns driver

Admin approves driver and assigns campaign to an auto.

3Driver uploads proof

Driver uploads ad installation, start photo, and end photo.

4GPS records distance

Mobile browser records GPS points while the driver page is active.

5Admin validates

Admin checks photos, route logs, and approves payable kilometers.

6Payment and report

Driver payment is marked and advertiser sees proof reports.

Driver Guide

  1. Login from mobile phone and keep location/GPS enabled.
  2. Check assigned campaign and install proof status.
  3. If install proof is pending, upload clear photo of the ad on your auto.
  4. After admin verifies proof, upload Start of Day photo and tap Start Day.
  5. Allow location permission and keep the AutoAdz page open while driving.
  6. At day end, upload End of Day photo and tap End Day.
  7. Check Today Tracked, Today Approved, Pending Earning, and Daily KM & Earnings.
If the phone is kept in one place, GPS drift may happen, but the app ignores weak accuracy, tiny movement, large jumps, and unrealistic speed.

Advertiser Guide

  1. Login as advertiser and create a campaign.
  2. Upload banner, select area, dates, budget, and rate per km.
  3. Wait for admin activation and driver assignment.
  4. View assigned autos, install proof, start/end photos, tracked km, and approved km.
  5. Use reports to understand local visibility and campaign proof.
Advertiser sees verified proof, not just promises: photos, GPS distance, validation status, and daily reports.

Admin Guide

  1. Approve new drivers after checking vehicle details.
  2. Activate advertiser campaigns from Campaign Queue.
  3. Assign active campaign to approved driver.
  4. Verify ad installation proof before driver starts campaign tracking.
  5. Review start photo, end photo, GPS km, and suspicious activity.
  6. Approve payable km, release payment manually, then mark payment paid.
  7. Use field checks for surprise verification of ad visibility.

How GPS Works

GPS works through the driver's mobile browser. After Start Day, the page sends latitude, longitude, accuracy, and speed to the server while the page is active.

  • HTTPS and location permission are required.
  • Bad accuracy above 60 meters is ignored.
  • Small stationary drift below 0.12 km is ignored.
  • Large jumps and unrealistic speeds are ignored.
Important truth: if the driver switches to WhatsApp, YouTube, calls, or locks the phone for a long time, browser GPS may pause. The session stays logged in longer, but GPS tracking still depends on the mobile browser staying active.

How Payment Works

Payment is based on admin-approved kilometers, not only tracked kilometers.

Approved KM x Campaign Rate = Driver Earning
  1. Driver completes trip and uploads end photo.
  2. Admin approves payable kilometers.
  3. System creates pending payment.
  4. Admin pays by UPI/bank/cash outside app and marks as paid.

Question & Answer

Why is driver earning Rs 0 after distance is tracked?

Because earning appears after admin approves payable kilometers. Tracked km is raw GPS distance; approved km is payable distance.

Why did GPS show distance when phone was not moving?

Mobile GPS can drift. The app now ignores weak accuracy, tiny movement, large jumps, and unrealistic speed to reduce false distance.

Can driver close the browser after Start Day?

No. Browser-based GPS needs the AutoAdz page active for best tracking. Closing or locking the phone can pause GPS.

What should advertiser check daily?

Assigned drivers, install proof, start/end photos, tracked km, approved km, and validation status.

What should admin do before payment?

Verify photos, route distance, suspicious activity, and approve payable kilometers. Then release payment and mark it paid.
